Kitchen Clarity Adventures in Kitchen and Bath Design

Hi, I’m Clarity.

More precisely, I’m Sarah Lloyd, and Clarity is my nom de plume.

On this blog I’ll be sharing some of the pleasures and perils of  kitchen and bath design, as well as highlighting some examples of great (and not so great) design as I encounter them in daily life and in my wanderings through cyberspace.

I’m an Interior Designer specializing in  kitchens and baths, based in Los Altos  in the San Francisco Bay Area. A graduate of the University of Birmingham, UK, I arrived in California in 1993, and trained formally in Interior Design  through the FIDER accredited Certificate Program at West Valley College, Saratoga, and at UC Berkeley Extension, where my focus was sustainable design. I am a member of the National Kitchen and Bath Association and an AKBD.

I plan to have fun sharing my thoughts and experiences, and I hope to be at least occasionally informative, too.  Come along for the ride, and let’s see what we discover!
