Tuesday at the Table
Whew, its been such a hectic beginning to the week, I haven’t had a chance to finish the well thought out and informative blog post I was working on for you
. Still, it’s Tuesday, which always gives me an excuse to delve into my collection of kitchen tables:

Which is your favorite? I can’t decide between the first and the last. Either would be a great place for a lingering lunch, don’t you think?
.

Just not modern enough, maybe? Or just easier to clean the table than to wash and iron tablecloths (I detest ironing tablecloths)
No tablecloths, I notice. I like them but are they dead in modern interiors?
I’m with you on that, Rich – I love the warmth that that table brings to the kitchen, and those chairs are so easy to wipe clean as well as easy to move, and the stack well if you need them out of the way. Great all around
My wife would choose the retro laminate and chrome, hands-down. I would drag my feet but probably concede – always works better that way…
Personally, I like #1; the sturdy farmhouse piece with the svelte lightweight chairs. A table should be stable; chairs should be easy to maneuver. I can’t stand clunky chairs, clogging up the access and impossible to shift to a comfortable angle. So there.
