Words for Wednesday

Oh I know, it’s just too easy. But I can’t resist the  little messages appearing on walls and shelves everywhere:

Not the most comfortable looking tub I’ve ever seen, but at least you know where to look for the soap.  To appreciate the example below, you have to know that “bruin” is Dutch for brown, and this is a Dutch home.  Nice how the colors match the dead cow on the floor, don’t you think?

Nothing like stating the obvious

This  would be stating the obvious again, but the obvious is obviously missing. Hmm, with all those books, I think there’s some kind of a message here …

  1. Hi Katie – I have a little series going on words and letters, click on the “words” tag right at the bottom of this post to see some more posts on the subject. Thanks for stopping by!

  2. What a fun blog you have! I was just eyeing a few metal letters earlier this week, so this post really jumps at me. What fun!

  3. Hah! They look like books for show, not books for reading, to me.

  4. Love the TV one. The absence wouldn’t be noticeable unless it were pointed out. My only grouch is that space could have been used for more books! Perhaps they could have spelt out TV in book covers instead?
