Words for Wednesday
Oh I know, it’s just too easy. But I can’t resist the little messages appearing on walls and shelves everywhere:
Not the most comfortable looking tub I’ve ever seen, but at least you know where to look for the soap. To appreciate the example below, you have to know that “bruin” is Dutch for brown, and this is a Dutch home. Nice how the colors match the dead cow on the floor, don’t you think?
This would be stating the obvious again, but the obvious is obviously missing. Hmm, with all those books, I think there’s some kind of a message here …

Hah! They look like books for show, not books for reading, to me.
Love the TV one. The absence wouldn’t be noticeable unless it were pointed out. My only grouch is that space could have been used for more books! Perhaps they could have spelt out TV in book covers instead?
