Room dividers fit for the theater
A different take on creating separation between kitchen and living space – sheer draperies create a romantic look, like the scrim separating auditorium from stage at the theater:

A closer look
It’s an intriguing look - just the suggestion of a separation. But practically, certainly not enough to hide the evidence of messy cooking from the rest of the space, if that’s the idea. With my skill and assurance at entertaining (ahem), I can easily imagine getting tangled in the curtain just as I tried to bring something elaborate to the table. Nor would I want to try this with young children in the house, or cats, for that matter. Am I being boringly practical? What do you think?
