Kitchen Clarity Adventures in Kitchen and Bath Design

Some of my favorite finds

11.25.2009 · Posted in Kitchens

My first 4 months and one week as a member of the interior design blogging community have been a fun and entertaining time, and I’ve “met” some really wonderful people. Given what day it is, this post is a thank you to some of them (oh, wow, it’s like I’m writing my Oscar speech).

Thanks to Paul Anater, at Kitchen and Residential Design, for his fearless, frank, and always entertaining writing. His posts, whether informative, fun, or the grrr aargh variety are always a great read, and he is also an absolute master of links and lists – every time I click one, I find another fascinating corner of the cybersphere to explore.  I have yet to work my way right through his blogroll, I am sure there are many more treats in store

Paul, “introduced” me to Kelly Morisseau at  KitchenSync.  Her articles are considered, kind, clear, and packed with invaluable information that shows her vast depth of knowledge and experience.  If you are even thinking about a remodel, you shouldn’t miss any of them.

I’ve really enjoyed Rachele Gorsegner’s The Conscious Kitchen, which takes a close and careful look at sustainability in a real life kitchen remodel, rather than just spouting the conventional received “green” wisdom that is plastered all over the internet.

My list of can’t miss kitchen design sites would have to include The Kitchen Designer, Kitchen Exchange, and KitchAnn Style, just to get started. It’s probably a good thing I had no idea just how many kitchen design blogs there are four months and one week ago, or I’d probably never have published my first post at all!

Thanks for reading, and have a wonderful Thanksgiving – unless you are in the rest of the world, in which case, just go about your business as usual, I guess!

  1. Thanks Clarity! I have really enjoyed finding your blog through Paul. Your finds are so unique and fresh — not the same old links over and over like you find on some other blogs!

  2. Thank you and have a great holiday!
