How cute can an Aga cooker be?

You’ve probably already seen this polka dotted Aga cooker, it’s  a special limited edition, designed by Emma Bridgewater as part of the company’s 300th year celebrations.

I’d love to see that in a real kitchen – wouldn’t it be fun to pick out a few of the pastel shades from the dots for the rest of the finishes? Or perhaps an all cream and white kitchen accessorized in those colors would provide a better backdrop, and allow the Aga cooker be the focal point.

Since I’m on the subject of Agas, here are a couple more from my gallery, this time in real cottage kitchens. First, from almostgotit (a fun blog to check out, mostly not about kitchens)

Don’t you just love that fresh tile floor and the matching backsplash?  Here’s one more, with just the kind of cheerful accessories (ok, clutter) the Aga seems to invite.

  1. Oops, that last one’s a Rayburn. But nearly an Aga!
