Green and glorious
A saturated green might not be the first color I would think of for kitchen cabinets, but here, in a home by architect Bruce Bolander, the effect is stunning.

This kitchen may not obey all the conventional rules (the diswasher right next to the cooktop is less than ideal, and there is no apparent landing space for the oven), but hey, it’s unique, and it works.
Of course, with that kind of view, it would be hard to go wrong. Although, you could argue that the strong green competes too much with the view – it’s certainly not a shy, retiring color. Would something more neutral or earthy work better? What do you think?
