Agas, looking cool
This fresh white kitchen was posted on Desire to Inspire earlier this week – it’s a house on Guernsey with a nautical feel throughout, a great breezy look – and you can just about see the Aga range hiding in the back there.

That sent me looking for other “cool” Agas – so often we think of the Aga as the cozy heart of a warm farmhouse kitchen, in colors like cream, claret, or forest green, so it’s refreshing to see how an Aga can fit in to practically any style of kitchen.

I love the pictures with dogs – that captures the essence of an Aga kitchen for me. The Aga below is in fact cream, but the dog is a nice cool gray, so I included it here anyway.

Lastly, a really nice blue and white color scheme, with a pale blue Aga style range as the center piece. No dog here, but maybe an Australian Shepherd would be the perfect accessory?

Hi Kate, thanks for your comment – I’m always happy to meet an Aga fan, and I will definitely have to join the facebook group. I’m only an Aga owner by proxy these days, sadly. It sounds like you are spoiled for choice for your range – what fun! What is the style of the kitchen, or is that TBD after the range choice?
Just found your blog and love it. Especially the Aga photos. For our 1884 townhouse, we’re trying to decide from among an Aga, a Lacanche, a La Cornue, and a Fratelli Onofri. If you’ve not see the Aga “a href=”http://www.flickr.com/groups/agalove/pool/”>photo group on Flickr, you really should have a look.
