Orange kitchens – do you dare?
This orange kitchen found at Desire to Inspire is the antithesis to the cool airy color schemes I posted yesterday. It is really great to see a real lived in orange kitchen – most often the pictures you see are of showroom displays.

I have a little collection of orange kitchens for you – there is no question it is a warm and vibrant color. I have an orange accent wall in my own kitchen/dining area, I can’t think of a better way to say “Happy!”. But would I do orange cabinets? Would you?

It is certainly a big commitment, isn’t it. I have had my orange wall for oh, seven years now, and I am beginning to think that I will change it to a deep cream next time I paint. For me, it has worked really well to have the color in paint, rather than in something as permanent and expensive as kitchen cabinets. Leave a comment and let me know what you think ….
